Uh, hey eh heh...

So I've been M.I.A. for a bit. Been pretty busy doing all kinds of stuff and obsessing over other things *coughDBSKcough* so I've been out of commission.

It's good to see though, that there are more people rooting for Erika. I'm glad to know I'm not alone :) And I also saw a vid on youtube use some of the caps I made of Nino+Erika, like right here, so I thank you for that, le48.

I still love Erika, feisty girl that she is, but lately I've been fixing my priorities and haven't spent as much time obsessing on people I don't really know. It was all good and fun speculating, but sometimes you gotta draw the line, yeah? I'm not saying this is the end because lawdy knows I speculate all the time, but probably I won't do it as much, if I can help it. That way my brain isn't too confused all the time lol

I think one of the causes is I don't get to talk or gush to too many (any, actually) people about it so at this point it kinda seems futile. I'm grateful for the comments I get on this journal though (thanks Iz and Nop!), you guys let me know that people are reading this :D

So, I guess from now on, posting will be at total random and will probably include stuff on DBSK haha It's not a bad combo, actually, Miz Fierce and Five Hot Boys; not that I'm ficcing it because that would have to be one epic fic that doesn't sound like total fail lmao

What's more unexpected is the interest generated from this. I hadn't pegged K8 to be one of the more popular Johnny's groups (or am I mistaken?) and while I know Miz Toda is okay on most people's lists, she's not really on top, so yeah... And what I find more interesting is that they were spotted together earlier but nobody reported on it until now. Hence, this might be a calculated move...

But what do I know?

If they're together, then they're together; if not, then they're not. Alls I'm saying is that rumors are rumors.

Lol, okay, I was lying kinda, I was actually surprised to find out Tsumaboki Satoshi was none other than Saru in IWGP, one of my most favorite doramas, and he actually was one of my favorite characters. His episode was just heartbreaking and bittersweet.

But anyways, I'd always wanted to know who this Tsumaboki guy is, since I heard he's hot shit. Imagine my big surprise to find out it was Saru hahahahaha And yes, I have to agree he is the white hot shit.

And now I can take in the pleasure that he did a CM w/ Toda Erika b/c then I can speculate whether they ever got together or what. They looked pretty cozy at the end, hehe.

It is so funny, because I always had this image of Nino as a huge smart-ass. He IS a smart-ass when he's around ARASHI, but he totally turns into a big, older-brother melted puddle around Erika. He can't stop gushing about her. Too cute. And that salute at the end of the video? He did that when Erika came on too.

Ok, so I still feel like a douche after posting my that explosive rant. Usually I think things over and rationalize, but from time to time I let go and yeah... lol.

I'm feeling like a douche because I'm seeing it's pointless to get worked over small stuff like that. Besides, when people have their own opinions, yelling is definitely not a way to convince them otherwise. And who am I trying to convince in the first place anyway?

I'm feeling like a douche because I'm starting to realize, I don't have to convince anybody. I don't have to persuade anybody to totally love Toda Erika, nor do I even have to persuade them to change their opinions about her. I don't even really have to defend her at every turn (but if anybody seriously messes with my girl here, there will be hair yanking and clothes tearing), and I don't have to get butt-hurt at every unfavorable thing said about her. Why?

Because I'm her fan.

Now that I got my ranting done, I'll be moving on to less aggravating stuff

Fall season is picking up into full swing and I've got a list of dramas up for watching. Here they are!

Gira Gira - I love the cast already. Maya Miki (soo good), Sasaki Kuranosuke (robot seller guy!), and Tanaka Yoji (i have to ask - is he fluent in english?) are reasons enough to watch it. And the newbie guy is kinda cute too. And that nya guy from Rookies is there too! He's listed as a guest though.

Celeb to Daihinmin (Binbo Taro) - I've no idea what the real title is, but so far it's ok. Kamiji Yusuke is hot, and the main reason I'm watching this. And Aya Ueto is in no way near Paris Hilton - not quite as scandalous. I've only watched the first episode, and the runway scolding was a bit cringe-worthy; usually I'm all for verbal smackdowns but Alice just looked blah. The ending was okay.

Hmm, that's pretty much it for the season. I'm still going through My Boss, My Hero, but I only bust that out when I'm desperate need for a laugh

That's pretty much it..... and of course I'm watching Ryusei no Kizuna

I don't get as worked up now as I did before I wrote my post and made peace with people's negativity towards Toda Erika, but it does still irk me a bit when people make poor-informed opinions.

Let me clarify: TODA ERIKA HAS ACTED IN MORE THAN A HANDFUL OF DRAMAS Y'KNOW, AND MOST OF THEM AREN'T DITZY LIKE LIAR GAME OR BITCHY LIKE HER SUPPORTING ROLE IN HYD2. Because a lot of people who piss on her acting base their opinions on these two fine examples. (Also imho, I don't hate her acting in Liar Game, in fact I think it's this performance that attracted me to her. And I totally love her in HYD2.)

It may not be your cup of tea, I can admit that at least, but if you've only seen her in those two roles, don't go and spread things like, "Oh, she's acted in mostly stupid/ditzy/dumb girl roles." That is not true and that is totally discrediting her other works such as in Nobuta, Tatta Hitotsu, Tsubasa, Presents, and many more.

Base line: don't say anything until you've seen her other works. Makes you look and talk like an ass.

PS: it's 2008 already, she's been in Code Blue and currently in RnK. As far as I reckon, both aren't ditzy or stupid.

Ok, this will be the last already. Instead of saying "shit happens" to every negative remark to Erika, it's now gonna be, "your shit opinions are ill-informed and you better go watch more of her dramas before spreading more shit opinions and misleading people."

Soo, the Bakanishi is going to star in a movie I hear? My interest has been piqued, so to say.

Since my last entry, my love for the Bakanishi has kinda died down, and I don't gush over him as much as I do with the Miz. But still, I am interested in the results.

From what I gathered, it's a music movie. At first I thought it was going to be a musical movie, where characters burst into song at random times, but details are still a bit hazy. Jin's gonna be in a rock band after all, so singing certainly won't be scarce.

The part where I laughed out loud was that one of the highlights of the news is that Jin's excited about, above all things, trying out the clothes. Then they mention the lines and that funny little script thing.

Well, news has it that Jin had been hand-picked by an important person who is involved in the filming and says that Jin is perfect because the main character, Natsu, kinda is a bit like Jin, going as far as to pondering whether Jin's private life and the character Natsu will overlap. Ooh ominous.

What I'm wondering is who'll play the girl? I already know who my first pick would be, just to see what kind of chemistry would react between her and the Bakanishi hehe

One more thing: Kobayashi Takeshi? Isn't he the guy who does AP Bank Fes' with Misuchiru? What's a music guy doing behind the camera?

Ah well, all these pokes aside, I really do wish the Bakanishi the best. He better be rockin, or else... uh... he just better be rockin.
